Eclipse Hosts Training Event for ESI
The team at Eclipse Geomatics was excited to host a training event on information management, spatial data, and QGIS for members of the Skeena Environmental Stewardship Initiative. Ten participants from six First Nation organizations attended the workshop.
The QGIS training component was delivered by Richard Johnson of Opus Petroleum Engineering Ltd.. Richard delivers QGIS training through the Columbia Mountain Institute of Applied Ecology in addition to working on hydrogeological studies, aquifer mapping and satellite image interpretation. He is one of the founders of the Slocan Wetland Assessment and Monitoring Project (SWAMP) and is on the Columbia Basin Watershed Network Board of Directors.
