Our team at Eclipse Geomatics is always looking for new opportunities to extend technology in meaningful ways.  Our most recent dive into augmented reality resulted in the development of the Augmented Reality Sandbox, an interactive watershed based educational tool fun for all age groups. Contact us to rent the Sandbox for an educational session.

Our current augmented reality project involves the Tangible Landscapes system developed by the NCSU GeoForAll Lab and powered by GRASS GIS and Blender, which allows for geospatial modelling using a tangible interface. Potential applications of the Tangible Landscapes include wildfire scenario modelling, landscaping, and natural resource management.
