What started as a neat idea to develop a hands-on, interactive, and engaging educational tool to connect with students around watersheds, mapping, geography, and natural science in northern BC was brought to life by Eclipse Geomatics with the construction of the Augmented Reality Sandbox and accompanying educational programming. The AR Sandbox can be rented for events or longer deployments, with a variety of grade-appropriate lesson plans and worksheets available for educators.
